Coffee courses
Without realising it, when we savour a cup of coffee we’re uniting many parts of the world journeying through its continents
Coffee is more than just a drink; it’s a work of art. Every adjustment, every little detail – it all adds up.
Making coffee is a ritual that demands care, precision, and above all, expertise. That’s why we offer not only a superior product but also share our knowledge through coffee workshops at our site. These are aimed at anyone keen to deepen their coffee knowledge, learning not only how to make coffee but how to appreciate all its nuances.
The courses, run by an expert, take place every two months. They cater to no more than 10 participants, ensuring personalised, high-quality training.
The course covers the entire green-coffee supply chain, from origin to extraction. It is divided into a theoretical section and a practical section.
The course starts by exploring the coffee journey, from the arrival of the raw green beans to their final packaging. It then moves on to a theory module covering a range of topics:
– Origins of coffee, introduction to different harvesting, processing and transformation techniques
– Introduction to decaffeination
– How to choose a good coffee machine, maintain and clean it properly
– Rules for making a perfect espresso
In the second part, the theoretical knowledge acquired is applied in practice. Participants try to make the perfect espresso, focusing on the extraction, adjusting the machine settings, frothing the milk properly, setting the grinder for the perfect balance, and beginning to explore latte art.
After completing the course, participants will take a short assessment to consolidate their learning. Once passed, they receive an attendance certificate.
